With the update to … QtCreator 2.5.83 ... i got a "Packaging Error"

  • Doing the today update to … QtCreator 2.5.83 and the rest SDK 4.8.2-411 (on Windows)
I got a new problem than never had … (the last update I was working was that of the august)

At the deployment I have …

00:55:38: Package deploy: Running command 'C:/NecessitasQtAndroid/apache-ant-1.8.4/bin/ant.bat clean debug'.

'"java.exe"' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Packaging Error: Command 'C:/NecessitasQtAndroid/apache-ant-1.8.4/bin/ant.bat clean debug' failed.Exit code: 9009

Error while building/deploying project hello (target: Necessitas Qt 4.8.2 for Android armv7a2)
When executing step 'Packaging for Android'

All the files & paths In the “Tools-Options-Android” seems as should be,
tools.jar file, JDK, Ant installations seems okay … as it was before the update working right.

    What has changed ?

Congratulation for the good effort guys of Necessitas project!
and anyone for the kind help.

Just going by the error message: Do you have java.exe in your PATH?

  • What relief to see an answer !
    THANK YOU Tobias

In cmd writing wherever “Java” is working

I have the path in …
    tools > options > android …
    Open JDK location: C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_07

and in windows “Environment Variables” …
    CLASSPATH “.;C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0\lib\ext\QTJava.zip”
    QTJAVA “C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0\lib\ext\QTJava.zip”

    Is there something missing ??

  • SOLVED ! :o)

The Tobias suggestion makes me to rethink the error,
(even thought at the past was working without this).
and I added the bellow lines in the windows path variables…

    Environment Variables

    Path :
    C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_07
    C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_07\bin
    C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_07\lib

(maybe are not necessary all the above paths but I have not time to see now)

NOW the deploy process is WORKING again!
I hope that helps others too!!
