[SOLVED]Is it possible to generate complete url from http response header
-
I wish to get the complete url of file being sent by server through its http-header(reply). I am doing some sort of packet filtering. Is it possible to generate complete url from http response header.
Actually, QNetworkReply has a method url() which returns the url from response, and some say that it's not possible. You need the actual HTTP request. Then how does QNetworkReply gets the url. -
The QNetworkReply object is created at the moment you do the request. It will only be filled with data as the request progresses and data is returned by the server. You pass a QNetworkRequest to a QNetworkAccessManager, and it returns a QNetworkReply for you to watch and use.
This setup makes it easy to associate information from the request with the reply that it triggered.
