N9, custom QTcpSocket connection, ask connection type

Hi all,
I have an application that connect to a remote server using a custom QTcpSocket on a tcp port (for example 4444) to download some data.
I'm working on a N9.The application run in the phone without problem but I need to establish an internet connection by hand before starting application.
How can I prompt the user the connection to use?
I'd lite to prompt something like the following:
