Plugins paths on Windows

  • As it is mentionned by Volker in the QWebkit documentation, the environment variable QTWEBKIT_PLUGIN_PATH, which allows to specify custom paths for plugins, is only used on Linux/X11 platforms.

My problem is that I want to specify to QWekbit a list of custom paths for plugins on Windows platform.
In QWebSettings, there is a static function which allows to create and return a instance of QWebPluginDatabase, but this function is commented. Moreover, the class QWebPluginDatabase is not exported in spite of this class contains a lot of useful functionnalities for the plugins management as get the default plugins paths, set the plugins paths, add a plugin path, set a preferred plugin for a mime type, ...

Has anyone already encountered this problem? (and eventually found a solution)

Thanks in advance for your help.
