Meeting C++ - Call for Papers
There will be a new european C++ conference this fall in Germany!
We are looking for speakers and possible talks at our conference!
Possible topics could include:
- (modern) C++
- C++ Frameworks like Qt, wxWidgets, Ogre, ...
- other C++ related topics
Please contact us over the contact form if you'd like to give a talk at Meeting C++!
Cul. Thanks for your post! I will read and maybe attend it.
As some people haved asked:
The session length will be 45 minutes, some talks might extend to 90 min.
There is now a form to submit your talk:
Call for Papers should end at 15. July 2012
Hi, I'm still looking for some Qt Talks ;)
But Tickets are now available:
Little Reminder: Call for Papers ends on Sunday.
Yet there is not talk about Qt5 or Qt at all submitted to the conference.
But I do have contact to KDAB, so they will provide some talks on Qt maybe.
Currently it looks very good for the conference, first tickets are sold, and the already submitted talks are pretty nice imho. Still I personally would like a broader focus then C++11 and boost only.
More Great News:
Intel is now sponsoring the event!
Also my plan for the Keynote has not worked out, so I'm looking for a keynote speaker for the event.
I think a keynote about Qt5 would be great...
BlackBerry & KDAB are now Sponsors of the Event too.
Both of them will hold Talks on Qt!
Today the early bird phase ends, so from tomorrow there will be only a limited quantity of early bird tickets be on sale. Once gone, there will be only the normal tickets at 399 €:
So, small Update. There are only about 25 Tickets left, so plan your trip soon.
For Thursday night the hotel is already full.
Right now its all going quite good along the way, hopefully we are able to record all sessions.
You can follow the conference now on twitter and facebook:
Also with Berlin, we have now a 3rd active C++ User Group Up and running in Europe :)
So, Event is over for a few days now, enjoyed QtDevDays and Berlin afterwards (finally beeing attendee :)).
The Event has been a huge success, and will be now a yearly conference.
There is a little wrapup, if you're interested in the details: http://meetingcpp.com/index.php/newsreader/items/meeting-c-success.html
Also, I started to upload the first talkvideos to our Yt-channel http://www.youtube.com/user/MeetingCPP/
