When will a new QtSDK be released that incorporates QtCreator 2.5. Better yet, when will the SDKMaintenanceTool's sources be updated so that it will pull down 2.5?

Is there a good way to install QtCreator 2.5 along side the SDK? Could I replace the version of QtCreator that's packaged with the SDK, or will that break it for updates?

Just install Qt Creator 2.5 somewhere and copy QtSDK/QtCreator/share/qtcreator/Nokia over to Qt Creator 2.5 (same place). That directory has the SDK settings, so all the Qt versions should be available again.

Tobias, that's a workaround, not a fix. The question itself is still valid if you ask me:

Yes, I agree with Andre, as I like the new features in Qt Creator 2.5 :) So I'll happy to see this update to the QtSDK or QtSDK Maintance Tool

            the comments in:

            http://labs.qt.nokia.com/2012/05/09/qt-creator-2-5-0-released/

hint that we have to wait for a 2.5.1 as 2.5.0 seems to be crashing.

No problem. Also "this":http://qt-project.org/forums/viewthread/17802/ thread seems to verify:

I am not aware of plans to have a 2.5.1 release anytime soon. Our team is currently focusing its energy on getting 2.6 ready.

Sorry, I do not know what the plans for a Qt SDK update are at this time.

I really love the Qt SDK maintenance tool. It seems like a great way to keep my Qt dev enviroment up to date. It's really frustrating, though, that it doesn't keep QtCreator up to date considering that it's the most important part of the SDK... =[
