<![CDATA[Qt Creator fails to recognize the GDB whose version output contains extra numbers]]>Qt Creator cannot parse the GDB version string because it contains additional version information (from crosstool-NG), causing ABI detection to fail.

The version string contains extra stuff that trips the parser. Hence the wrong version shown in the dialog.
