BlackBerry + Qt
-
What will be the future of this ?
-
already exists on the Wiki for Qt Playbook, I believe that as for android, Qt will grow enough to blackbarry.
-
I think: nothing.
No official support for this. And now the Android and iOS take everything. In future, this won't change.
As I see the headhunter's adverts, I see only Android/iOS combo...
They are cover more than 80% of the market.
Now I'm thinking to change to Android (iOS Obj-C lang is so awful :)), my current Java knowledge is enough to the change. -
Blackberry is being actively developed and supported. Qt 4.8 works out of the box as does the development version of Qt5.
See http://qt-project.org/wiki/Building_Qt_5_for_the_Playbook for more information on getting up and running with Qt5 manually. Or you can download a binary SDK from https://github.com/blackberry/Qt/downloads
You can even use QtQuick2 on Blackberry platforms :)

RIM are putting an Amazing amount of resources and effort on Qt with the new BlackBerry 10 OS.
