The Boot2Qt example projects (e.g. testbed and 3dparticles ) build, run, and deploy correctly using this kit, so the kit itself is functional. However, when I try to create a new Qt Quick Application project, the Kit Selection step reports “No suitable kits found”, even though the template’s description shows that Boot2Qt is supported. This only happens when creating a new project from the wizard; existing Boot2Qt examples can be built and deployed with the same kit without issues.
I’ve verified that:
– The Boot2Qt kit is fully configured under Tools → Options → Kits (valid Qt version, correct device type, no errors). – The Qt version includes Qt Quick modules.
I would appreciate guidance on why Qt Creator rejects the Boot2Qt kit for new Qt Quick Application projects, and whether there is a setting or known issue that would cause this discrepancy.

Hi SGaist,
Thank you for your reply! My Qt Creator version is 18.0.0 based on Qt 6.10.0 on a M1 Mac. The Raspberry Pi kit is Boot2Qt 6.10.0 as well. This is my first time posting on any forms so apologies if I am lacking in details.
