meta-qt6 has tag v6.8.4-lts but not v6.8.4

Hi. We wanted to upgrade our yocto from meta-qt6 v6.8.3 to v6.8.4
But found that there is no v6.8.4 tag, only v6.8.4-lts

Or whether -lts and therefore Gerrit is the only option going forward?Thank you

There will be no 6.8.4 lts for opensource until next year as it was for all lts releases. You have to pay for lts or stay on your current version or even better use the most recent one.

How can we tell which branch will become the next LTS after 6.8.x?
6.9.x, 6.10.x, 6.11.x, ...?

If memory serves well, it was usually around every three releases. 5.6 -> 5.9 -> 5.12 -> 5.15. 6.5 -> 6.8
