How to zoom in and zoom out in the parent rectangle while in simulator

I have created a parent rectangle with large dimensions and some images, I want to zoom in and zoom out and also navigate in the parent rectangle while it is zoomed.

The details depends upon which approach you have used in your application i.e. QWidget vs QGraphicsView vs QML/QtQuick. In the end it will boil down to modifying the transformation to alter the scale. Can you provide some more information please?

In that case all you need to do is to modify the "scale" property of your parent item. When you do so the parent and all of it's children will be scaled accordingly. The thing for you to do is to decide how you wish to trigger the scaling. Once you know this it will determine where and how you modify the scale property.
