V4.7 issues error messages on Macbuntu theme
-
These messages are the result of changing themes from default GNOME to Macbuntu:
@
(<unknown>:16555): GdkPixbuf-WARNING **: Bug! gdk-pixbuf loader 'png' didn't set an error on failure.** (<unknown>:16555): WARNING **: Pixbuf theme: Cannot load pixmap file /home/ken/.themes/Macbuntu/gtk-2.0/Menu/menubar.png: Failed to load image '/home/ken/.themes/Macbuntu/gtk-2.0/Menu/menubar.png': reason not known, probably a corrupt image file
(<unknown>:16555): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_get_width: assertion `GDK_IS_PIXBUF (pixbuf)' failed
@
[partial listing of many many lines]There is basically one for each image used in the app. The menu bar image is available at the indicated location and can be viewed (not corrupt as reported).
Ubuntu 10.10 (maverick)
Kernel 2.6.35-23-generic
Macbuntu 2.3 on GNOME 2.32
GNU g++ 4.4All other apps work as before on default GNOME theme.

Could you try starting a native GTK application using that theme in a terminal and check whether that is producing the same warnings? In my experience a lot of themes are really horrible in the number of messages they produce!

This is what I get just starting the text editor:
ken@ken-shack:~$ gedit
