My ancient LaTeX, guided installer (I coded a long time ago) hangs now that I'm fixing up the code again...

It's after the render thread has completed obviously.

Open up the .wpr (Wing project) and / or set your main entry point to DiagramDetective/BananaCats.py. It will run this installer script.
If you don't mind installing or having already installed MikTeX you can test the script (on Windows).
Anyway, not seeing anything wrong with my code... and neither is my IDE seeing anything wrong. How can I see what is hanging?
