i am developing a game thru Qt QML...
how can i detect the screen size of the system on which my game's running and when the maximize button's pressed fill the entire screen according to that or when the window is resized ?

Set the size of your root(main) element to @anchors.fill: parent@ This way your application will be resized automaticaly to the size of the window and you can use width and height properties to get current size.

You can write an "extension plugin":http://doc-snapshot.qt-project.org/4.8/qdeclarativeextensionplugin.html and use this plugin to get current screen info ~
