    Hello,
I have been trying to install openFoam on my Mac, but have not ben able to run the paraFoam command. Every time I do, I get the error message:

Could not load the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in ""even though it was found.

When running the command with debug plugins set to 1, this is the full result.

    Any idea what I'm missing?

      Hi and welcome to devnet,

Something is off here, you write that you're on a Mac, yet you are showing errors that are pertinent to Linux.

What is your exact setup ?
Based on the error message, you are likely using a Linux distribution that uses Wayland as window manager. Am I correct ?

@SGaist said in paraFoam - Could not load the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in "" even though it was found.:

Also my first thought... but maybe it's "litterally". So a Linux VM running on some Mac hardware?
But these are speculations :) Only @coopsido can clearify :)
