I'm a little confused because I tried t get the open source version of QT. Now it schows that the installed version is for evaluattion which expires in 10 days.
Is the new QT-Creator still a open source Software?

KurtLooks like you've downloaded the wrong stuff. How did you install Qt?
At the bottom of this page you find a download link for the Online Installer which grants access to Qt and QtCreator community Edition.
