Yocto Build qt5.15 with audiocapture

Hello,

We are doing a migration to qt5.15 and during the process we have seen that the qt recipies for qtmultimedia includes gstreamer.

We want to use audiocapture instead of videonode and we have forced through a patch in /src/plugins/plugins.pro.

My question is if this can have any negative effect or if there is a cleaner way to do this.
