<![CDATA[Error while building Qt from source on Windows]]>After configuring Qt build successfully for static build with msvc
I ran cmake --build . --parallel as the configuration suggested
Then, I faced this error and no idea how to solve it:

I have added -debug-and-release flag, but that seems to make problems with Qt for some reasons
after removing it, it works fine

One point to keep in mind, static builds generate bigger libraries and bigger executables, doing a static debug build is not a good idea because of the sheer size of the end results beside the fact that you will need quite a lot of RAM just to load your application.

I followed the official way via the link you sent and reconfigured Qt in another directory, but the same error persists when building

It might not be related, but you are not following the instructions properly.

See Step 4: Build the Qt Library.

Don't do that in the sources folder. Always use a dedicated folder.
