When do I need to buy the paid qt version?
-
I made some research but I am quite not sure and I don’t want to take a risk, if I make an iOS app and post it to the Apple Store, will I have to buy the qt paid version? If not what do I need to do to avoid paying for it. (I think I saw I had to make it open source but I just wish to make sure of it)
Sorry if I am in the wrong category, I wasn’t sure which one was the right one, since it was for iOS and AppStore I figured this one would be not so far
If my question is unclear say it and I will re-phrase it -
Hi and welcome to devnet,
Warning: I am not a lawyer.
AFAIK, you have to abide by the LGPL rules which might be complex in the case of the AppStore.
If you want a definitive answer, check with the Qt Company.
