      Hi and welcome to devnet,

      You should install the debugging packages for these libraries. That should give you better information for your stack strace.

        @SGaist Thanks for reply,

        You mean the dbugging package of libEGL ? I think i have the libegl-dev package.

        how to debug this seg fault issue , In Qt or using GDB . GDB is getting stopped at Backtrace stopped: previous frame identical to this frame (corrupt stack?)
        (gdb)

        How to process further here , Please suggest on this .

          @Rakesh007 said in Qt5 segmentation fault with libEGL.so.1 lib:

          libegl-dev

          This is development package containing header files, not debug package of the library.

            @jsulm thanks for reply,

            I am suspecting that there is no debug package available for library libEGL.

            If you have any information on this, then please suggest the concern library for libEGL seg fault and better place to debug GDB/Qt creator?

            Regards,
            Rk

              Since Libegl is a dispatch library, don't you have the one from the mesa package for example ? That one has a debug package.

                  Did you install the corresponding debug package ?
