<![CDATA[QImage colour depth for reading images]]>I notice that QImage in Qt6 now supports RGBA64 and friends. Does that mean that it will now read a 16-bit per channel PNG? Are there any other formats for which 16-bit per channel is supported?

Is there any mechanism in Qt to get at image metadata (in particular EXIF data which is held in jpeg and png files (since png 1.5).
