libxcb-xinerama.so.0 error qt creator linux offline installer
-
Hello everyone,
when I want to install qt offline and try to run qt creator on ubuntu, I got libxcb-xinerama.so.0 is missing error. As some of people here suggested I cannot install library with sudo apt-install libxcb-xinerama command because I don't have internet connection. So how can I install this library to my computer. Can I download it to a computer which has a internet connection and then carry it to the one that does not have? Or is there any other solution to this problem. Why I cannot run qt with just running offline installer. May there a problem the way I install? Thanks in advance. -
@dearqt Qt creator needs it and your machine does not have it. Therefore, you can not run qt creator even when you are online. You have to install it in your machine. I guess you can download it to another machine(which better has the exact version of Ubuntu) and then copy the lib to your machine. Check its dependencies and exact location when you install it.

You should be able to install it by mounting Ubuntu ISO file.
