While cloning any Project from the connected Gitlab Server in QT Creator, Why Public tag is showing beside the project name? Does it mean that the project will become public or something like this?
-
I have created a GitLab project with Private visibility and integrated GitLab server with QT Creator using Access Token. But when I try to clone that project from QT Creator I found that a Public tag is showing after project name. Does it mean that the project is publicly visible and anyone can clone it?

Hi,
Check the visibility of your project in GitLab directly but I doubt that Qt Creator touched that part of GitLab when cloning.
Which version of Qt Creator is that ?

There is no issue with your project visibility.
It's an issue of the plugin. It shows the visibility as public by default if the corresponding field is absent from the GitLab answer. With the query used, it always is hence you are seeing public for all projects.

As already written: that value is irrelevant. You have nothing to do at all and your project visibility has not changed.
