    I have vertical layout with 2 label inside it. I want to shrink the layout to just occupy needed space, no more. I set label's size to fixed, and layoutsizeconstraint to fixed but nothing changed. How can i do that?

      the layout managers don't seem to handle fixed as most folks expect. set the min and max hint sizes and refer to

      enum QSizePolicy::Policy definitions

      Unfortunately they are not very descriptive without examples.
