<![CDATA[Looking for help with simplle QT app.]]>Hello everyone.

I'm not a programmer but more of a hacker. Could someone be generous enough
to give me some base code to do whats in the attached picture please. From a base I think I can muddle my way through the rest. I have no experience with GUI programming but QT seems to be my best option. I know enough about C/C++ to be dangerous.

My dev env is Ubuntu 22.04 with QT5. My attempts to get my brain around QT creator
have been dismal.
