Unsolved Does Qt Widgets apply default icc color profiles?
-
Hello
We developed a Qt Graphics desktop applications for Windows/Mac using Qt Widgets 6.2.0.If we render something to a QPixmap and paint that to a Qt window, the colors displayed are a bit different compared to that we write the QPixmap to a png file and display that i.e. in the Windows File Explorer etc. Mac and Windows here have the same effect.
My assumption is, that Qt applies a default RGB / display profile for rendering?I searched the web and the source code but did not find anything like that.
Is there anything known about color management in q Qt Widget application?
Any hint welcome.

imo Qt does not do any color manangement at all.

The observation described was caused by a icc profile embedded in the png file used for testing. So this problem is solved.
