Hello!
I bought my Nokia N9 here in China without any Instant Messaging installed. Only this QQ, the famous messenger here.
Is it possible to have Skype, Yahoo Messenger, Facebook applications on my mobile? My friends got those applications on their phone who's also living here in China. I'm pretty sure I can, but how?Please help me!

Nokia devices are localized depending the market they are targeting. Try to find and download your desired apps from Nokia Ovi Store if they are available for China. Btw you can also visit "n9-apps":http://n9-apps.com/ it is a nice catalog of apps for MeeGo Harmattan.
