Unsolved Qt 6.4 mobile questions
-
Hello, I'm thinking of developing my new mobile application with Qt 6.4. But I have some questions.
1-) There is no purchasing library in Qt 6.4. How can I write a subscription code for Android in Java and call it from Qt? is there an example for this?
2 -) With Qt 5.15 we were able to show notifications or admob ads using QtFirebase. Qt 6 does not have this support yet. Have any alternativies?
Thank you for helping me with my questions.

Hi,
1) The module is available in Qt 6. There's the getting started QML example.
2) I don't know about that one. -

I couldn't use the Purchasing library with Qt 6.4. I tried to use Store and Product by importing the application package with QML according to the instructions.

Sorry, I was wrong. Qt Purchasing will not be available in Qt 6. As per QTBUG-78182, it should be replaced with platform specific examples.

so no more qt purchasing? Do we need to write native custom codes instead?

There's supposed to be examples provided for that but I don't any further, sorry.

@SGaist What if I write the subscription and purchase code in Java and then use it in C++? Is there an example or how-to article for this?
-
@NullByte what is the difference of the subscription and purchase code in Java and C++?
-
@JoeCFD It's same. Only I don't have idea how to do in Java.
I'm looking for a sample code that does just that -
Is there anyone on this forum who can show an example for this?

QtFirebase
can not you rebuild QtFirebase with Qt6 since you can get the source code?

@NullByte Qt can access Java code. But the logic could be messy for your purchase app. It might be easier to build QtFirebase with Qt6 than to write an interface to handle Java calls.
You may need half day or a day to build QtFirebase with Qt6. But you may need days or weeks to finish your interface.
