How to narrow or hide this column? Need save some space so I'm concerned

The space in that column is used for things like breakpoints, line numbers, error and fold indicators:
If you don't need line numbers or fold indicators you can disable those in Edit -> Preferences -> Text Editor -> Display section, by unchecking appropriate options. I don't think you can disable breakpoint indicators though.
