<![CDATA[QT Creator Mac displaying characters badly]]>Hello

Odd problem. Just installed QT creator on a new mac running macOS 12.3.1 - I am now finding that vairous characters are not displaying in the editor - namely {, } and the letter 'y' (amongst others) which hits my productivity somewhat

Default encoding is set to UTF-8 and UTF-8 BOM is set to "keep if already present" - I don't know what the latter means

I've tried creating a new file and the issue persists so I don't think it's anything to do with my old files.

Any ideas appreciated..

Thanks - that was indeed the problem. Somehow the default font creator uses seems to be corrupt in some way. Very odd!

Can you check which font you are using ?
Maybe try another to see if it renders better.
