    Hello, i am a student and i am quite new to qt. i am trying to make a small project for University. i wonder Is there a method to make a heat map like this in Qt6 with data collected from arduino. Also the Qserialport library works with QT5, but doesn't work in QT6, any idea why?

        @jsulm
        I think QSerialPort was not yet working in earlier Qt 6.x? Which 6.x are you using, @khelsayed ?

        For the ideas of how to do the heat map side, what did you make of the various suggestions in the topic you referenced?

          its no longer part of the core module, you have to select it explicitly from the maintenance tool

          sure!
          A ready to use oneliner ? No.

          I would suggest using QPainter on a pixmap/image and than displaying that
