Offline installer didn't install Plain C Project or Plain C++ Project templates
-
Hello everybody,
I'm having some problems with QtCreator (with SDK) offline installer.
I used in my machine the online installer and everything worked fine.
Im planning to use QtCreator to teach C language for my students, but the offline installer is not installing Plain C Project or Plain C++ Project templates among others in the school labs. We tried to use custom install, cheking every option, but it is not working too. The version that is being installed is prior to the last one (released february 1st).Do you know if it is a problem of the installer that im using? Or do I need to perform anything else?
Im asking this because the offline installer is too big, and I want to know if the new version will work before I download it.Thank you very much!
Best regards,David

Qt Creator is made for Qt. There are no templates for plain C++ projects, but there are for plain C++ classes (just select "New C++ Class" and don't specify any Qt object as parent).
You can always create empty project, too.

Can you please "file a bug report against the Qt SDK":http://bugreports.qt-project.org/ ?
I do have plain C and plain C++ projects availabe in File->New File or Project under "Non Qt Projects", using a custom build from recent master.

Oops, sorry. I've checked again, and there it is (QtC 2.4.1) :) Silly me.

Hello sierdzio and Tobias,
Thank you for your reply!
Tobias, as you suggested, I reported the bug in the bug tracker (https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTCREATORBUG-6938 ).
