Accessing commercial releases (such as Qt 5.15.10) through Qt MaintenanceTool
-
I have upgraded from LGPL to a Qt Small Business license. I want to install some of the commercial only binaries, such as Qt 5.15.10. I can see my new commercial license in https://account.qt.io. But when I run MaintenanceTool on Windows or Mac, I don't see a Qt 5.15.10 release. Isn't MaintenanceTool supposed to pick up the new license when I log in?
Am I supposed to update a license file somewhere? I can't find any documentation about it.
I can get the release from https://account.qt.io/s/downloads, but I would rather do everything through MaintenanceTool for consistency.

I believe you will get something from Qt to guide you how to do the update or upgrade. And you should be able to get technical support from them, right?

I have license keys, but no indication what to do with them.

I have requested support. But apparently it might be 2 working days.

So the advice I got from Qt support was:
"Qt 5.15.10 should be available through the maintenance tool but it is required to remove the old open source installation completely and also remove the open source license files from your system. So, first step is to remove the old Qt installation completely. Then remove the old open source licenses which might exist."
I am surprised they didn't make that clear when I upgraded or when I ran the MaintenanceTool (presumably it can detect the new license from my online account).
