I need to build a plain model (QAbstractListModel I suppose) of all available images on Symbian file system and populate it as a new qml type. The question is, how to build this model in an effective way? I would be gratefull if anyone could give me a direction to research.
I tried QFileSystemModel as a base data source, but it gives a directory tree. All I need is a plain list.
As an alternative, it would be enough to aggregate only camera images. Is there a way to locate default camera library destinations? As I understood it could be located on both: local and memory card.

Thanks in advance
