How to use LD_LIBRARY_PATH?

Hi,
If Qt is installed with a CodeSourcey tool chain for cross-compilation if the target is arm-based, then we get a warning that
Variable QMAKE_RPATH is deprecated; use QMAKE_LFLAGS_RPATH instead.
So, in that case, I got an "explanation here in forum":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/doc/qt-4.8/qt-embedded-install.html#What I am confused is how to use the LD_LIBRARY_PATH in the qmake.conf, which is KEY for Qt-Installation for an ARM-Target.
Please Suggest !
