    Hi,

    I installed (from binary) the latest version of Qt (6.2.4 with MinGW 11.2.0 64 bits and QtCreator 7.0.0) on desktop running Win 7 Pro 64 bits. The installation executes normally but when I try to open a file, or QtCreator directly, I get error message 0xc0000005 saying that the app cannot start correctly. Help and suggestions would be appreciated.

      @jcga
      I don't think Win 7 has been supported for quite some time, e.g. https://doc.qt.io/qtcreator/creator-desktop-platforms.html

      Windows 10 (64-bit) or later is supported.

      You could have a read of https://forum.qt.io/topic/133002/qt-creator-6-0-1-and-qt-6-2-2-running-on-windows-7.

        Ok, I understand now. I would expect the installation program to warn the user of this incompatibility, but that is so. I'll try the fix in the post you indicated.
        Many thanks,
        Jean-Claude
