Qt for Symbian Anna toolchain wasn't added afer Qt SDK update
-
Hi,
I work with Symbian Anna targets for the first time , hope to set it.
after Qt SDK update no Qt for Symbian Anna added.
I can't observe it nor in ...\Qt\QtSDK\Symbian\SDKs nor in targets section , in Edit Build Configuration under Symbian Device nor in Tools->Options->Build and Run->Qt Versions in Qt Creator.maybe that target shouldn't be added after update I don't know yet ?
Does anybody know why it wasn't added after update ( I selected Qt for Symbian Anna tools to update )?Thanks in advance.

Sounds weird. If you start the Updater, select "Package manager" and press Next, what does it show under "Development Tools" / "Symbian Toolchains" / "Symbian Anna"? Is anything selected? If not, what happens if you select "Qt 4.7.4 for Symbian Anna" and press Next?

If I select only Symbian Anna toolchain then Updater tries to remove deselected components that I do not wish to remove.
When I select all components in the Updater then there are some errors during installation. I do not repeat that yet.
How to install selected component w/o removing deselected ?
I already built an application for Symbian Anna using Symbian^3 toolchain.
Does anybody know where I can find list of upgrades/differences(changes) in Symbian Anna versus Symbian^3 ?
Thanks a lot. -
Sounds like something is wrong with your installation. If you just select additional things, like the Symbian Anna toolchain, and don't touch anything else, nothing else should be changed. At least that's how it works for me.
Not sure what you mean by "How to install selected component w/o removing deselected ?" though. If you deselect something it will of course be removed. But you don't have to deselect anything, just select what you want to add.
