Which Tablet can I use to develop Qt/QML Touch application ?
-
Hello! I want to make a Qt Application on a tablet. Which one can I use ? Do you know if it already exists a tablet to make this possible ? For now, I think the easy way is to buy a windows Tablet. Android doesn't support Qt yet.. And Meego... no comment...

As I know, there is version for Android, called "Necessitas":http://sourceforge.net/p/necessitas/wiki/Home/.
Meego is supported natively, as Symbian or Linux. So almost any tablet would be appropriate.

Yes, Necessitas is a working port. It's still in alpha, but already works exceptionally well. iOS is also supported, but I do not know how well.

There is a Qt for iOS SDK available now. This has full support for the iPad, with OpenGL, autorotation, accelerometer, GPS & comprehensive keyboard support (with copy/paste on QTextEdit and QLineEdit widgets).
There's also a QPA (and QWS) port for WebOS, one in development for PlayBook, and this one:

According to "Digia blog it will be also possible to deploy Qt commercial on tablets with Windows 8":http://www.digia.com/en/Blogs/Qt-blog/Sami-Makkonen/Dates/2011/11/Deploying-on-Windows-8-Tablets-with-Qt-Commercial/.

The Playbook QPA port of Qt 4.8 is working very well now. There are some detailed instructions on how to get up and running with Qt on the Playbook "here":http://wiki.qt-project.org/QNX

This week I bought myself a Wetab. Should arrive next week. Wetab OS Meego based has some bad reviews over the web, but they are constantly updating the OS, and I really like the looks of it. Besides is open hardware and all over youtube, people just use it with Windows 7, 8, Ubuntu, http://blog.wapreview.com/tag/wetab/ . The price is pretty ok for the hardware. Also nomovok steelrat videos look pretty nice, with Qt quick and QML http://nomovok.com/steelrat and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bf7wv0auzck&feature=related
Can't wait for it to arrive :)
