I build subdirs project starting with "subirs .pro" and adding main project to it.
Then I build a test library and add it as local library as another "subdir".
    Then I add existing project(s) ...
End up with nice tree structure - easy to manage etc..

HOWEVER after save / reboot I can (default) restore LAST project added or SELECT the subdirs project.

The subdirs project works / edits / builds etc.

My library is no longer part of the current tree structure.
It is gone, invisible - must be reopened manually to edit it.
Sort of defeats the "sudirs" concept and I think I have said it before.
    Hence end of rant.

Can you share your top level .pro file? That is the project you should be loading when open a project in QtCreator, not any of the subdir projects (they will be loaded automatically with your top-level project).
