Quick, hopefully simple question. Open files list. How to get it back?
-
Previously, as in last week and for 5 months prior at least, when I open a project and open files, a pane is visible below the project file list on the left side in QtCreator that shows all the files I have opened.
This is very useful, as frequently the editing of a group of files are relevant to needed changes.
If I don't want/need to keep that file open, I can left click and close it. It will still be in the larger project file list.
But that edit history pane has disappeared and I can find nowhere in QtCreator in which to turn it back on. Maybe I just don't know the magic name for it when I am searching?
How do I make this pane visible again?
Thanks.

Click the icon showing 2 boxes and a plus sign:
then select "Open Documents".

Many thanks.
Thought that was, as the suggestion implies, for splitting. As in giving me 2 views of the same file so I can look at different relevant sections without scrolling back and forth.
Didn't think it meant opening panes with different functionality.

You can choose to display the same thing if you want to. Click on the "up down" arrow on the left - there you can choose what will be displayed inside of that panel.
