Building Qt to support 32 bit os/64 bit os for both desktop and embedded linux
-
I have a just installed a new Windows 7 64 bit machine and have a 64 bit Linux (Ubuntu) running via virtualbox. I want to be able to recompile Qt libraries to support 32 bit and 64 bit under both platform and also support desktop as well as embedded linux. Is it possible for me to recompile these library variation under a single instance of each platform? Is it recommended? If so, can you provide general details and/or links to support me?

Using the correct compiler toolchains, this should not be a problem. You will have to wait for four compiler runs to finish (or even more in case of additional embedded targets), though :-)
PS:
Make sure to install/build in separate directories, of course.
