Static qt 6.1.2 on Windows x64 - is it at all possible?

Hi all
I've tried to compile the 6.1.2 sources to a static version for Windows x64, but failed utterly. Has anyone done just that? If not I'll drop Qt alltogether, and go for Eclipse.

Hello,
I asked a similar question a short time ago (including the ssl and mysql options) on this forum.
I have the impression that the Qt 6 versions mark a strong regression compared to the Qt 5.x versions.
And already the compilation options of the first Qt 5 versions were no longer compatible with the latest versions of Qt 5. The same script no longer allowed static build with the same external sources (openSSL, mySQL) no longer worked !?
Obviously the static compilation is "neglected" by the development team. Pity. Same consequences as you: >> change of development platform.

Thank you Selzig, that's what I suspected. I will go for Eclipse, can I ask you what your choce was?
