Why is Qt file version incompatible with system version?

Install qt on 32-bit windows7, select all 32-bit components, after the installation is complete, start prompt file version is incompatible with the system version how is it?

Yes, launch Creator.The installation program is Qt-Unified - Windows-x86-4.1.1-online.exe

That is odd unless you do have other Qt DLLs installed and it finds them.

What if you click on its icon ? Or is that how you try start it ?

Does the file have a name or could you show the ACTUAL message you get ?

@duncan98 The latest version of Qt Creator only provides a 64-bit pre-built exectuable, so it cannot run on 32-bit Windows.

If you must stay on 32-bit Windows, download a 32-bit version of Qt Creator. The last version that comes with a 32-bit build is Qt Creator 4.13.3: https://download.qt.io/official_releases/qtcreator/4.13/4.13.3/ (download the x86 version, not the x86_64 version)

You can then add the Qt versions that you already installed to this version of Qt Creator:
