I periodically get "dissembler " output when "F5" is pressed .
Sometime it quits after a while and goes back to source

    Where is disassembler
    enabled
    or disabled

    ?

If you break in code that the debugger doesn't have the source for (typically inside Qt library code) it will show the disassembler

@AnneRanch If, you're using QtCreator, you can simply go (bottom middle left) via the stack trace listing to the first entry that resembles your file/class naming and double click on that. Should give you more information than the disassembler view

Be aware of the Qt Code of Conduct, when posting : https://forum.qt.io/topic/113070/qt-code-of-conduct

        Q: What's that?
        A: It's blue light.
        Q: What does it do?
        A: It turns blue.

@VRonin That makes sense, I'll watch for it.
