How to make a window keep shadow all the time

I have a window, and I use setFixedSize() make its biggest size little smaller than the screen. When I Maximize the window, The shadow around the window disappeared. Is there any way to keep shadow around the window all the time?

Do you mean the drop shadow of the actual window ?
It is drawn by your operating system and most of them will remove such effects when maximizing the window.
Its outside of Qts control.
