We migrated to Qt 5.15 LTS with eglfs as platform plugin.

In our existing network, two nodes(processor cards) are connected through serial RS 485 and corresponding remote displays(one main display and the other secondary remote display) are to be rendered graphics. The secondary display is a view only stripped down minimal display and neednot handle touch events.

In case of above multi-process usecases with 2 or more client applications to be rendered on remote displays running Qt with eglfs, does it makes sense to use Qt wayland(with weston compositor) or Qt remote objects module or any other recommendation?

Though Qt remote objects work with TCP connection and rendering on remote node display, would like to seek feedback on the optimal approach using serial for the above usecase.

Appreciate your suggestions in this regard.
