Unsolved Pyside2 and 3D - blender (example)
-
Hi,
I never used this option to "import" blender file to QT 3dViewPort.
Most of topis on forum are very old and outdated with links.
Started searching on forum and internet and not found any example. The last thread is around some bugs and topic is around QML..
https://forum.qt.io/topic/117677/how-do-we-import-a-skinned-mesh-with-armature-skeleton-and-material-from-blender-to-qt3d
Not sure.. this implementation around 3D - blender is more for QML or can be this same fore Pyside2 or Pyside6?
Can anybody provide any simple example as proof of work, and how to do this? There is information how to export.. ok..
https://doc.qt.io/qt-5/quick3d-asset-conditioning-export-blender.htmlAnd something about "Balsam"
https://forum.qt.io/topic/117286/importing-3d-object-with-materials-in-balsam
https://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qtquick3d-tool-balsam.html#supported-3d-asset-typesBut nothing more.. how to use this with Python and Pyside2/6.
- Want load some scene and animation and control this with QT GUI.
- Don't know how to do this - and it is possible by Pyside2/6? Or for this type like 1. need to combine Blender Game Engine (BGE)?
- How to prevent to edit blender files if these are planed to use in some QT GUI app? Don't want offer option to edit .blend .fbx in blender again to discover scene/objects and structure. It's possbiel?
