Pushing project to github

Hello,
When trying to push my project to github (Tools -> Git -> Remote repository -> Push) I receive the following message:
error: cannot run ssh-askpass: No such file or directory fatal: could not read Username for 'https://github.com': No such device or address The command "/usr/bin/git" terminated with exit code 128.The command "ssh-askpass" is nowhere to be found, it is not installed and not in arch repos (using Manjaro KDE). Also, I wasn't able to find a way to setup my github credentials for QT Creator GIT tools. Please advice on how to handle this.
