I am writing an android game where the user moves blocks (qpushbuttons) to insert in the correct places for them. I move buttons using mouseMoveEvent (QMouseEvent) and .move (x, y). During this movement, sometimes traces of these buttons remain on the screen, and if you drag the button back to these places, they disappear. What could this be related to and how can I fix it?

Sounds like a partial repaint. Try (for testing) to call update() on the main window after you've moved the button.

@kshegunov Many thanks! Everything worked and no traces remain anymore.
