No more "import external project..."

After three attempts to install / update to Ubuntu 18 and unsuccessful attempts to download latest Qt installer I went back to plain

sudo apt install...

So I have (current Ubuntu 18 complied versions ) of

Qt 5.9.5
QtCreator 4.5.2

The old option to "import external project..." is nowhere to be found.
The "add external project " (as subproject ) is nowhere to be found.

If you are going to move from your Ubuntu 16 I would move to Ubuntu 20.04, not to Ubuntu 18. I do not know why you would choose that, it will still be out-of-date with respect to latest stuff.
